Considered a living fossil, the ginkgo tree has no known living relatives and has endured for millions of years with little change. His demonstration of resilience, combined with its antiquity, has granted the tree many symbolic meanings throughout the world. It has become a symbol of strength, hope and peace for many.

This ring is cast from a ginkgo leaf that I happened upon during a walk near my studio. I created a silicone mould to capture all the wonderful details using the lost wax technique.

Your jewellery will stay at it's best if you keep it dry or if you store it in a plastic bag when you are not wearing it. You will receive a polishing cloth that you can use on silver, solid gold, brass or bronze but do not use it on any gold-plated or gold filled jewellery, as that will prematurely remove its gold coating.
